For a very reasonable price point of $59.99, the Logitech G230 is a solid gaming headset that will suit the average PC gamer nicely. This was a quick un-boxing, review and a little how to with the ps4 of the Logitech G230 gaming headset. The Logitech G230 might not be the flashiest gaming headset available, but what it lacks in terms of bells and whistles it more than makes up for in a smart, comfortable design and crisp clean audio. As well, the earpieces feel nice and light, and did not cause any appreciable irritation after prolonged use. Overall, the G230 suited my gaming needs nicely, with solid audio input and output. But those who are looking for the G230 to double as a podcast mic or something like that might come away disappointed. In other words, recordings sound like you're using a gaming headset for audio.Īt the same time, this is a gaming headset, so audio output quality isn't going to be a necessity. The mic's audio was on par with the Giotek EX-05 headset, but the clarity was a little lacking.
